Lemon cake with olive oil


180 ml olive oil

400-430 gr sugar

4 medium eggs

200 ml greek yoghurt

3 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

125 ml lemon juice

2 tbsp lemon zest

500 gr flour

For the serving

2-3 tbsp powdered sugar or lemon glaze


Please notice

Don’t open the oven door until 40 minutes have passed. After 60 minutes try piercing the cake with a knife. If its blade comes out clean, then the cake is ready.
